Please come and join the Brewster Recreational and Shellfish Departments for a fun, two-day program on shellfishing. We will pass out a one-week shellfishing permit per attendee and provide a guide to shellfishing identification and the shellfishing regulations in Brewster.
What to Bring: Appropriate clothing for the weather conditions
You’ll need boots, some kind of gloves to keep your hands dry and warm, sunscreen, sunglasses and/or a hat. Expect to be kneeling in wet sand. We have rakes and baskets available for sharing, but bring your own if you have them. Make sure you ask your parents if they want you to bring home some shellfish before you bring them home.
